After working as a general contractor and in the construction industry for over a decade, Ben joined ESG in 2002, bringing his field knowledge and construction experience to his new position. As a construction administrator (CA), he oversees projects from the permit set document phase through construction completion, making sure projects are built per plans and specifications, that budgets are controlled, and the quality of the design and construction are upheld.

Ben leads by example, thus becoming VP and Director of ESG’s CA team in 2019. He works professionally, positively and proactively to find comprehensive responses to resolving issues before they become large project challenges. One critical aspect of his approach is clear and prompt communication, “which is an excellent way to create sustaining relationships,” he says.
