This six-acre redevelopment will bring greater density to a 1960s-era site that included significant surface parking. The new campus will include a twenty four-story multifamily residential tower and a seven story mixed-use building that includes office and retail uses. Following the guidance of the Greater Southdale District Plan, three new city blocks are being carved out of the existing superblock. Future adjacent redevelopment will tie into the new street and pedestrian connections that this development will create. The project will create a more walkable and pedestrian friendly environment within a currently heavily car dependent district.
